About Project

PayAid is a system created for New Zealanders to keep track of their finances and manage them. The application contains data on money, income, and expenses data and keeps expenses statistics depending on goods and services. Also, PayAid allows users to have microcredit. Thanks to flexible technologies for calculating solvency and credit history, it gets different opportunities for lending and managing users’ credit funds. Also, the app has a handy Real-time feed function, which means with PayAid, the user does not need to update his app every time he spends money. Budgeting Bud is fully automated and will do all updates for the user.

Intuitive Interface and app processes

From the beginning of using the PayAid application, the user understands what steps to take to get the desired result. The project’s design used many visual elements, which required a customized approach. Also, the use of many services and third-party platforms to verify the user and control the current state of financial movements aroused interest. As a result, a clear and structured system of state control logic was built in close cooperation with the Backend department, which makes the application precise and user-friendly.

Third-party integrations

This type of project had to be taken seriously. The application had to be secure since it stores confidential data of users and accounts, etc. The user verification system had to be worked well. Finally, the application had to work quickly and without errors. We needed to connect third-party API integrations to implement some functionality inside the application.

  • Illion BankStatements Account: used it to log in or authorize the bank account.
  • Centrix Dashboard: we used this to verify the user in the application. The verification consists of 3 steps, and if you don’t perform at least one stage, the user can’t use the app.
  • GoCardless Online Payment Processing Solution: this solution was perfect for deducting the amount of money from the user’s account.

Budgeting bud and available microcredit

One of the main features of the application PayAid is microcredit, as well as easy control of your budget. The user can borrow money under certain conditions. An algorithm will calculate how much the user can take and how he will pay back. Moreover, the app can tell the user when he has a salary, for example. Budget control is a very convenient feature, allowing users to allocate money to specified categories and easily control spending on certain purchases.
