About Project

The product is a mature, data-heavy retail automation platform used by major retail chains to streamline everything from purchasing and stock management to shelf layout optimization and promotion planning. The tech stack includes Node.js on the backend, React on the web frontend, and React Native for the mobile companion app. The system handles large volumes of transactional data, integrates with client ERP systems, and relies heavily on analytics, forecasting algorithms, and real-time dashboards. This is a long-term engagement on a stable, well-funded product with a clear roadmap.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years in Full-Stack JavaScript/TypeScript development
  • Strong experience with Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar)
  • Strong experience with React, experience with React Native is a plus
  • AI-first proactive development approach
  • TypeScript, REST APIs, relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar)
  • Experience with CI/CD, testing (Jest / React Testing Library), Git workflows
  • Good communication skills, able to work in a distributed, English-speaking team

    Nice-to-have:
  • Experience with data-intensive or analytics-heavy applications
  • Knowledge of Redis, message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka), or event-driven architectures
  • Docker, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Background in retail, supply chain, or enterprise SaaS products
  • Experience with mobile app delivery (App Store / Google Play)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain features across the web (React) and mobile (React Native) applications
  • Build and extend Node.js backend services, APIs, and data processing pipelines
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions
  • Write unit and integration tests
  • maintain code quality and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver features end-to-end
