About Project

Senior Backend/Full Stack Developer for a full-time, remote role with a distributed team. You’ll design and maintain high-performance backend services with TypeScript, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB – with a special focus on system security, secure architecture, and vulnerability prevention. This is a long-term opportunity to work on impactful, scalable platforms in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years in backend development
  • 3+ with TypeScript/Node.js
  • Good Python skills for backend components
  • Deep database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, GraphQL)
  • Proven cybersecurity expertise – secure coding, threat modeling, incident response
  • Experience with WebSockets and messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis streams)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken and ability to mentor junior engineers

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and secure backend services using TypeScript, Node.js, and Python
  • Architect RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems
  • Apply advanced security practices, encryption, and access control mechanisms
  • Manage PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and GraphQL queries with performance and safety in mind
  • Implement WebSocket communication and message queues (RabbitMQ, Redis, etc.)
  • Collaborate with frontend, product, and data teams to deliver reliable features
  • Enhance CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments with security-first principles
