About Project

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with a strong track record in building scalable backend systems and APIs. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our core backend services, with a particular focus on cybersecurity and compliance; A platform that connects brokers and investors, offering quick deal evaluations, AI-assisted underwriting, and streamlined closing processes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of backend development experience, including at least 3 years with TypeScript/Node.js
  • 2+ years of experience designing and implementing security/cybersecurity solutions aligned with SOC2 compliance
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and GraphQL, including query optimization, indexing, and data modeling
  • Expertise in REST API design and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with WebSockets and real-time data handling
  • Proficiency with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis streams
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
  • Cloud deployment experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with a focus on scalability and availability
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a systems-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor junior developers
  • Experience with SOC2 certification is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using TypeScript, Node.js, and Python
  • Architect and optimize RESTful APIs, integrating them with internal and external systems
  • Manage and optimize data models and queries in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and GraphQL
  • Implement real-time communication systems with WebSockets and message queues (RabbitMQ, Redis, or similar)
  • Build and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and rapid incident response
  • Automate data backup and recovery processes to support business continuity and protect data integrity
  • Incorporate compliance tools into workflows to meet regulatory requirements and strengthen security
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code deployment strategies
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead root cause analysis
