Eventyr is on the lookout for a Head of Accounting to lead our financial operations during a phase of rapid global growth. This is more than a controller role—it’s a stepping stone to CFO. You’ll shape our financial systems and policies from the inside out, working at the intersection of finance, tech, and strategy. REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years in accounting or finance leadership roles
  • Strong command of financial analysis, planning, and control
  • Proficiency in accounting software and reporting tools
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher
  • Strong team leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with legal and compliance frameworks
  • Negotiation and stakeholder management abilities

    Nice-to-have:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or similar
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification
  • Experience managing international tax and financial structures

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Oversee accounting operations and tax compliance across jurisdictions
  • Manage internal audits, risk assessment, and cash flow controls
  • Set up and optimize finance IT systems and tools
  • Ensure timely and reliable managerial and tax reporting
  • Coordinate with external consultants on legal, tax, and audit matters
  • Support fundraising and investment decisions with data-driven insights
  • Shape financial strategies aligned with company growth and goals
