About Project

Mobile gaming – Casual Games/Hyper Casual Games/Hybrid Casual Games. Our product – a classic puzzle game Outsource project – a pipeline with Casual Games/Hyper Casual Games/Hybrid Casual Games.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in web application testing (full cycle)

    Skills:
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, and smoke testing
  • Clear understanding of when and which type of testing is applied
  • Ability to investigate and analyse complex solutions to find root causes
  • Ability to independently solve problems, initiate necessary procedures, and accompany tasks to completion
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining comprehensive testing documentation
  • Experience in participating in requirement analysis and estimation
  • Familiarity with QA processes in a Scrum-based environment

    Technical Stack:
  • Postman, Swagger, Browser DevTools, BrowserStack, REST API, Jira, Confluence, Zephyr (or analogs)
  • Note – And experienced in testing databases (MongoDB or SQL) if it needed in future

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive functional testing to ensure all features work as intended
  • Create and execute detailed test cases based on functional specifications
  • Identify and report functional bugs, and verify fixes
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities
  • Maintain a regression test suite and update it as necessary to include new test cases
  • Conduct smoke testing to verify the stability of the build and ensure that the critical functionalities are working properly
  • Log defects with detailed steps to reproduce, screenshots, and relevant information using Jira or similar tools
  • Track and manage defects, ensuring they are addressed and retested in a timely manner
  • Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and test coverage
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings as part of the Scrum process
