REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3+ years of commercial experience in React Native development with shipped applications on both iOS and Android
Strong experience building applications that work with video content (recording, editing, processing, playback)
Proven track record of integrating third-party SDKs and native modules into React Native projects
Solid understanding of React Native architecture, bridge communication, and platform-specific implementations
Experience with native development (Swift/Objective-C for iOS or Kotlin/Java for Android) for custom module development
Knowledge of state management solutions (Redux, MobX, Zustand, or similar)
Experience with RESTful APIs and backend service integration
Understanding of memory management and performance optimization for media-heavy applications
Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows
Understanding of CI/CD basics and mobile app deployment processes (App Store, Google Play)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Good communication skills and team collaboration experience
Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
Familiarity with Expo or similar React Native frameworks
Experience with Firebase or similar mobile backend services
Portfolio of shipped React Native applications.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with video codecs, formats, and media processing concepts (FFmpeg, AVFoundation, MediaCodec)
Previous work on media or content creation applications
Understanding of app monetization and analytics integration
Knowledge of accessibility standards and implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile application (iOS/Android) for video editor product with features including video editing, recording, and subtitle functionality
Integrate and maintain third-party SDKs, native modules, and third-party services for core video processing capabilities
Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following established architecture and coding standards
Collaborate with team to deliver features on time
Maintain high code quality standards
Optimize application performance for various device configurations and handle memory-intensive video operations
Debug and resolve platform-specific issues, ensuring consistent behavior across iOS and Android
Develop custom native modules when needed to bridge React Native with platform-specific functionality
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
